Encounter with Usain Bolt

Hey fellow EEL fans.....

I just had to share this with you all...

Tonite at work i had the pleasure to meet the great Usain Bolt at work, he was flying out to the U.S.

I managed to score an autograph as well. (yee haa) -add that to my list

I talked to him about Jarryd Hayne, he said that Jarryd was coming to Jamaica at end of the year to train with him... Interestingly, he said that Jarryd wants to work on his speed from standing. I told Usain im an EELS fan, he said "WAY TO GO MUN"

Then went on to say Jarryd is very fast, if he trimmed down a bit, could be faster. Maybe that is the plan???

He loves Australia, but most of all, he said " you guys have the hottest women"

  • Good one.
  • With Mark Tookey.... haha
  • Nice BK.
As I've said before, it should be good to hear of Hayne's experience when he returns from Jamaica, and how he plans to implement what Bolt showed him into his rugby league.
  • Yeah true, i hate how Hayne starts slow when he gets the ball, he has the speed and strength, i dont think he uses it to his advantage...
  • Hayne was also considering going to the US to train with some gridiron teams to work on his power and speed, but then the offer came from Usain, and who on earth could say no to that, the man who is possibly one of the greatest athletes to ever live asks if you want to train with him.
