Emmanuel Macron has had a substantial victory in the run off election for the French Presidency. What does this now mean for France?

Is this the knockout blow for the Nationalist movement in France or considering the national Front has doubled it's vote since Marines father Jean-Marie Le Pen ran for  the presidency will it be a continuing growing force?

Will Emmanuel Macron be able to unite his country among growing turmoil?

What are everyone's thoughts?

  • Patsy I think the French are in a bit of strife....but I don't know. I thought Le Pen had good ideas and getting out of EU and limiting immigration was good...the guy in charge now was a member of a former Leader...
    • yep he was Francois Hollande's Cabinet minister and coffee boy. It will be interesting if the document dump tha happened just before the media blackout will reveal anything as they start sifting through it.

  • Macrons a farce, but Le Pen got more votes than her party has ever got, its onwards and upwards for the nationalists.

Europe is not ready for the far right just yet but they will certainly be in the future, people are starting to wake up big time.

Marines a great woman and france will suffer greatly for her not being elected but the tides turning dont worry about that.

  • LOL No, do some research slippery, he loves islam and wants to open boarders up, hes a globalist banker.

  • Yes that's right Patsy. I also think a lot of the immigrant population would've helped the vote for Macron, if you follow what I mean. I just fear for lots of these European countries with these open borders.
  • Yeh a pity she didn't get, I would of travelled to Paris just to do the SS GOOSE STEP. Not to mention the tight lederhousen

    • Asking a question is no indication of someone being dopey, Slugg! Just because you like to eat snails, like the French and ask Snake all the information about everything does that mean your even more dopey? Actually are you really Snake, Slugg using another bogus name? Your avatar looks like the bloke from Paul Hogan show, you know the dopey one who always wore the lifesaver cap!
