Effort v Smart Effort

Going to post this and expect the normal fuckwit trolls to have a shot at me. Just watched the halve time comments on Fox, BA always talks about the effort put in but Mal Meninga said there is a difference between effort and ‘Smart Effort’ and that is up to the coach! Any comments?

    We are very predictable, we put in the effort but we play dumb tactics and we have poor discipline.

    The way we are playing has everything to do with the coach, i agree with Mal.

    There’s no variety in our game. We need to be able to attack through our forwards or opposition defences only have to have quick line speed to cut off our backline and all of a sudden we look pedestrian in attack exactly what’s happening . Without mid season roster changes that means angled ball runners , changes of direction, short passing between forwards and supporting your ball runner
