Likely in conjunction with the 2017 eels squad news. there are now 32 players on the list, noted absentee is Watmough, with Jack Morris and Alex Twal added to the profile. Bevan French also has his photo added but think it had been following his lift to the NRL squad earlier.

Mate I made a comment early this year when the main team photo's were all put up, as I thought they were terrible, the dark background of the passport shots were terrible in fact to me I thought they all looked like mafia agents.
Alex Twal was included in the original shots, whereas the three new ones included are from the NYC page, what a difference they look. Other clubs have similar mug type shots and when you click on the view profile of them, there is a full photo of the player with the details, looks far better than these amateur efforts.
No reason why when the full team photo is taken that they cannot do the full length of each player for posting.
