Eels Want Munster!

There's a little bit of mail floating around that Parramatta is interested in Cameron Munster, the Melbourne back-up to Billy Slater."I've contacted Melbourne about this and they say it's ridiculous. They've locked him in a contract and he won't go," said Brent Read, on Triple M Rush Hour."But I'm hearing their [Parramatta] sniffing around him."The Eels have struggled to fill the fullback spot since Jarryd Hayne left the club to pursue a career in the NFL. Both Will Hopoate and Reece Robinson have played their this season, with limited success.As you can see in the video below, the kid has freakish ability. The 20-year-old, who can play fullback and five-eighth, won the Queensland Cup rookie of the year in 2013.He's currently signed to the Storm until the end of 2017 and he gained selection in last year's Queensland Under-20s team. He has played four NRL games for the Storm, scoring just the one try.

    I love the name Munster, the great Irish Rugby club that have beat the All blacks hold a special place in my heart, so im all for anybody with the name Munster, including Eddie.

      Agreed, unless we're planning for Munster to play in the halves? If we're looking to sign him for the halves I'd rather go for someone who has experience of playing in the halves in first grade

    This kid seems pretty good. I have watched maybe one or two games and he is doing more than Hoppa and Reeve have done. That's not to say he can keep it up.
