Eels vs Roosters bunker official stood down

Graham Ansley has stood down the bunker official in the eels vs roosters game. They never specified the decisions which they got wrong because the match review committee still to do their processes. These are the errors by the bunker imo:

  1. D Brown not being reported immediately and than sin binned
  2. apparently, niukore hit walker high just before that incident. Never saw it tbh.
  3. Niukore tackle on Tedesco. Even though I thought niukore could of done nothing else, I recon Ansley wanted niukore binned
  4. Sivo try should of not been allowed
  5. Bunker did not notify the ref immediately when Radley was hobbling. Maybe not bunkers fault.
  6. Idk if this is the bunkers fault, but roosters should of been binned for continuous 6 agains and slowing us down

anything else?

  • Uncle nick had a whinge and got his way as usual.

    • Don't think it was Politis. The bunker was horrible. We knew it. Commentators knew it. Etc.

  • What a fucking joke.

No doubt a fair bit of fire and fury in the form of a thick Greek accent was hurled Annesley's way at half time and I bit he coudln't wait to hook whoever the official was.

I'm not endorsing the bunker, frankly, they're consistently incompetent. But the power that gets wielded out of Bondi Junction is disgusting. I can't think of another club that would get such a quick response to their frustrations.

  • sivo try was a try.Yes the bunker stuffed up but ive never seen so mujch arse kissing by all commentaters to the roosters like i witnessed last night.I can only imagine if the shoe was on the other foot would parra get all that attention?...No they wouldnt.Roosters still had way more rep players then us and majority has won premierships so no excuses.

  • I think BA should have went on the warpath against the refs last night .. I saw the roosters do what the dragons did and all game deliberately slow the ruck knowing the refs would be to scared to call it on most occasions and be scared to use the sin bin .. make no mistake I thought our attack was crap as we were too deep , but we could never get any momentum because of the illegal play by the roosters knowing they can hold out for a few tackles and wait for a mistake

    • Robinsons presser did the job. What would have happened if BA did one like that?

      • The whole presser was a staged event to help the roosters get a result.

The questions were angled at highlighting the poor decisions so Robinson wouldn't have to.

  • What the Roosters want, the Roosters get.

  • The reason why the bunker Did not act on the brown/Hutchison foul play is because it was totally accidental.

Now roosters Winge Will make the NRL make an example out of Brown, So you're not allowed to put your body on the line in attempt to stop someone from scoring? Drew Hutchison dived at the last minute. Brown was totally committed and had nowhere else to go. He should not of lead with his knees this all happened very very quickly.

There was absolutely no intent to injure the player, so can it be deemed foul play?

Can and accident be deemed as foul play? I thought foul play had to be intentional?
So in this Incident I don't believe the 18th man could or should have been triggered.

    thoughts?

    • Spot on.
