  Argh no. 5 in front is not much better than 4 even in those conditions. The play should have been complete your sets, try and roll it in goal without it going dead. If we are in our territory complete kick deep hopefully for touch and defend. The aim to keep them down their end without enabling them to enter our side of halfway and we win the game.

  It's all about controlling the game and starving the other side of the ball. I think if they took the one the psychology of both teams change a little. The eels get another set of six and probably another chance to kick the ball dead and wind down the clock.

  In that situation we need a smart captain who is ably to give orders and steer the team. I just don think mannah talks enough for captain and should concentrate on his own game. We can't afford any favours and we need to choose a new captain immediately. My guess would be five Corey a go.

  Closing out a game. Up 4 and on there try line with bout 7 to go 4th tackle. All we had to do was get tackled on the 5th in the corner where we were and they start their set from there. No need to risk kicking dead for 7more tackles or Ma'u throwing trying a miracle offload and handing them the ball with our defence not set which is what untimateky changed all the momentum and was the worst case scenario. Then repeat if we get close enough on the next set. If not kick into touch or kick it high and chase. Under 12's team I used to coach can close out games better. On a positive not our defense was very good for 95% of the match.

  I agree I thought Mannah's first stint was solid but as a captain he leaves a lot to be desired, he doesn't question the ref at all & plant the seed in their heads about what indiscretions the opposition are making & how parra are not getting equal opportunities

  I understand what you are saying mate but if we missed the field goal then Souths would have 7 tackles so it's a bit too risky.

  Nah I would of just preferred if Sandow could of simply picked up the ball without dropping it, that would of worked too
