Eels vs Dolphins 3 - 2 - 1

A 10 out of 10 effort in the first half, set this game up for the win. Allowing the dolphins to get way too many points in the second half needs to be addressed for the future.

EELS 48  -   DOLPHINS 20

3. Mitch Moses - dominated the game with try assists, line breaks, game management, points scored. Run metres , Kick metres . Lead the teams attack all day, his kicking was pinpoint all day.

2. Gutherson - Was everywhere, tried all day to pick the team up in the second half, lead from the front, scored some good trys

1. Pensini / Hopgood. Couldnt seperate the two boys. Penisini is developing into a complete player, Hopgood played so well in attack and defence he wouldnt look out of place in Origin.

Special mention to our forward passes. I lost count of them.

Arguably Mitch Moses' worst game in 3 years, even in the first half

    • Hopgood played strong didnt he.

    • Not Moses worst game in 3 years lol. But definitely one of his Moses inconsistent games in 3 years. Did great and shit things

      • he has got to stop with the short kick chases

        • If there is an area he needs to improve it's his decision making in the red zone, especially when the defence really digs in.

        • Don't agree , keeps them guessing

    • Moses was shit if you're setting his bar at top 3 highest paid players in the game.

      • Yep Moses 2 dud kicks resulted the hammer 🔨 hammering...

      • I think he's earned that status in the game, but today was not his best. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was backing up from Origin, the first time he'd had to, and he was a bit fatigued, but it wasn't good.

    • Simonsson had a shit defence today and as for Sivo... if there's a half decent winger in reserve grade I can tell you Sivo wouldn't be in my top 17. He's been poor most of the season. His work rate is pathetic compared to other wingers. For a man his size, he should be steamrolling the opposition with every carry.

If a player feels undervalued, grievance is inevitable. If he’s overpaid, pressure intensifies. And if he’s unhappy, money won’t fix it.
