Eels vs Bulldogs 3, 2, 1

Good solid win. Did what we needed to but we never really got out of cruise control. In its own way this is a good thing. Not once did I think we might not win.

3. Gutherson

2. Mahoney

  • Anyone else notice the change of momentum in the team when he went off injured tonight?  I certianly did, and those that bag him, need to wake up. He offers us so much in terms of endless, hard running and opposition draining hit ups. The bloke is nothing short of a machine. We would be crazy to let him go.  The Commentators even made note of how valuable he is to our squad. Thank heavens it is a reported hip pointer injury, rathan than what Cory Parker thought in an ACL.  We need to re sign this guy.  He is hard, tough and one of the key reasons of for our packs momentum.

    • I noticed that. Nathan Brown is an essential signature for us, line speed in defence, hard running, great energy and more and more a ball player linking to his backs.

      MUST SIGN!

    • Agree Nathan Brown is a huge player and needs to be resigned ASAP.

      • Yep and it showed when he went off tonight.

    • Don't get how  anyone can bag the bloke either EE. Has anyone ever seen him not give it all he has got.

Feel sorry for him that his manager buggered up and wish parra would  get him re-signed before someone else does. There's a few sides I often think need someone like him
