Eels trial squads v Panthers named

The Parramatta Eels side to clash with the Penrith Panthers in this Saturday's pre-season trial at Panthers Stadium has been named by Blue & Gold Head Coach Brad Arthur.

In the first Battle of the West of the year, ahead of the 2019 NRL Telstra Premiership, Arthur has named a 18 man squad for the clash kicking off at 7pm.

The Wentworthville Magpies and Jersey Flegg sides are also in action ahead of the NRL clash with their squads also named below.

  • If Taka is back in the centres we’re in trouble. Too broken, too slow. BA might be hanging onto the combination Taka and Semi had ... where Taka used size to create space before offloading. Perhaps he can still do a bit of that, but he was shown up a lot in defense...

    • Yeah they're brothers. Tyler is the younger of the two.
