3 years younger and would cost a lot less. Ryles will have to be strategic with some signings to utilise our cap if we actually want to have a bit of a clean out.
This could allow us to spend more in other areas we need greater money spent.

There is seriously something wrong if we need to move RCG along to make signing and the Dogs can add him to their squad. We will be paying them to take one of our better players 😂😂. It's obviously not true as our experts have been arguing on here that our cap isn't fucked . The club and it's very qualified bunch of shrewd businessman are doing a stellar job of managing it apparently.

Bullshit. No other clubs going to pay full freight on him. Please ... we are moving him as we are paying him too much for what he returns in the clubs eyes . If he was giving us great value we'd need to keep him.
For the record I have no idea why we'd move him along. It's super dumb. We only have him on our books for another season and it's not as if we are going to make some huge signing for next season. But no way are Canterbury going to pay him 850k or whatever it is when they didn't pay that for Kikau . You'd just keep him here and play him his last season if we are going to go into the season with some kind of hope.
Unless we have some super signing in the pipeline we need big bucks for , we are better with him than without him in 2025. I could only understand moving him if he had a multi year agreement outstanding.
The reason is he wants another two seasons on top of next year. He was probably told it was unlikely that he'd be re signed on good coin beyond 2026 here.
If he gets 700k for 4 seasons it more than makes up for his losses in 25 and 26
If clubs won't pay that, he'll stay here
