The performance on friday night was definetly not good enough, i was not happy with what i saw. I was looking forward to this game it was the chance to prove to everyone that we are real threats this year, but all we showed is that we need to wake up.
Its clear we are suffering a form slump at the moment and need something to get us out of it and place ourselves as firm premiership contenders just like we did at the back end of 2009.
The performance of the halves have not been acceptable all year, simple as that. Maybe they need to have a few weeks at wenty just to up their confidence, it seems we are relying on hayne to even do the kicking job for us when we have 2 very capable halves.
It is so dissapointing to see feleti leave next year, he has been such a great player for us and shows spark almost every week even on his bad days,i dont know how we are going to replace such a talent like feleti.
There has been some speculations about us being interested in Inglis but is this really going to help us? Whenever you hear about Inglis coming to the eels you cant help but get excited but just because he plays so well for the storm doesnt mean he will do the same for us, and + we aready have two very good centres in tahu and reddy who both have played rep footy.
I think we need to buy a halfback who can link well with hayne, he is always having to create his own chances and then gets bagged out when he has a bad game, personally i dont think he has too many bad games, he does his job and sets up tries from fullback what else could you ask for..
Possibly a player like cooper cronk would do the job, but i dont think storm have any intensions to get rid of him.
If we lose Grothe we are going to have to buy another winger or we could just stick with Etu who i would love to see more of this year
So there is 2 options we stick with KK and mortsy or we look to spend big dollars on a player like cronk.

Welcome, welcome, welcome to our site. Please continue to post on our site and to feel very welcome.
I am also of the view that Inglis is not what we need at the moment. Inglis thrives off the quality ball that is given to him and if the same quality ball isn't given to him at Parramatta, he will essentially be just a very expensive centre. Also to pay for Inglis, we would undoubtedly have to lose a few more guys like Keating, Guru and Horo who are also coming off contract.
I still refuse to give up on our halves combinations. I still have faith that it will come good and that we don't need to go looking outside the club for the solution.
We also have Tom Humble - who with some more experience this year, might also be able to play five-eighth in the coming months, perhaps shifting KK to hooker?
As I mentioned though - welcome to the site and please continue to keep the faith. I maintain we will come good. :-)
Must be great to be born when RL is "THE GAME'
But I think Sakuraba deserves an answer
WHO DID YOU SUPPORT FOR THE FIRST 3 YEARS? lol
I am a Mortimer / KK fan and believe they will eventually be great.
I would like them to swap positions on the field tho.
KK on left of ruck- Mort to the right.
Robbo seems to be getting a handle on the 9 jumper and with the small amount I have seen of Humble I don't see why he shouldn't be thrown into the mix as well.
Humble to 6 when robbo goes off and KK to half would be an interesting experiment.
Love your tag - Eels fan forever.
I have only followed one team in the NRL and even before there was an NRL
Love em - hate em - ride the highs and lows - criticise them - scream like a madman but never leave em.
like how u think that certainly would be an experiment worth trying
