Eels Telstra Squad update

https://www.parraeels.com.au/teams/

The eels web site has been updated with photo's of all the players except Nathan Davis, still blank.

There are 33 players shown in the gallery, 19 forwards and 14 backs.

Clicking on each player there is a decent amount of info on them, more on some than others, and better than last years efforts.

Tony Williams is shown as the heaviest at 118Kg's, then Tepai at 112Kg, Tim Mannah at 110Kg

Youngun's in the squad, Ray Stone, at 95kg and 20 years old, Read Mahoney, shown as Hooker, 19 years old, and 86Kg,  Dane Aukafolau, 20 years old, 99Kg, Greg Lelesiuao, 20 yrs old and 99Kg

Nathan Davis is shown as a winger and 99Kg's will see if he uses his weight to affect.

  • I wonder how we stack up in the forwards department against other teams (re: weight and height).
  • Layout looks nice, but yeah a few problems here

    • Cropduster, It appears that they are using the players first name rather than surname for how to list them in alphabetical order, its different to what is normally seen having surname first then given name.

CP I think that once its set up fully it will be a better site than we have had in the past, even what's up there now is a big improvement on past years.

  • I saw Nathan Davis 105kg

Wonder if he could be a prop?

    Can he  tackle?

    • Oops, yeah I hit wrong keys.  He would need to learn more in defense based on what I have seen of him.

  • With Luke Burt, Peter Gentle and Ronnie Palmer leaving last season who replaced them for this season?

"He was provided all the legal advice before signing the release and understood the stipulations. Just because R360 didn't eventuate doesn't mean he can force his way out of it lol. Spoilt brat defence is not going to work for Lomax or the storm 🤣 "

Hell On Eels replied to Johnny Suede's discussion Lomax legal promise could create salary-cap headache for Storm
"LB, Eli, good stuff gents. We've acted in good-faith. By the book. With clean hands. Lomax appears not to. Still, equity is not unlikely to view an NRL-wide 3-year restraint until 31Oct 28' as overly-punitive and read it down.
We'd still win,…"

"If you look at it from a player for player deal, would you rather Lomax or Howarth if you are the Storm but ? I just don't see any way legally the storm can force the eels to hand them Lomax 🤣 either way don't really care what storm end up doing but…"
