Parramatta have tabled Keaon Koloamatangi a monster four-year offer in a bid to prise the representative forward out of South Sydney.
The Roosters are also monitoring the situation, given forward Angus Crichton is off contract and considering a switch to rugby at the end of next season. Perth also inquired about 27-year-old Koloamatangi’s plans, but were told he wants to remain in Sydney.
However, the Eels are shaping as a genuine threat to South Sydney’s bid to retain the former NSW and Tonga star. Sources not authorised to speak publicly told this masthead the Eels have weighed in with a four-year offer worth seven figures a season.
Parramatta officials, including coach Jason Ryles, have met with Koloamatangi and his manager.

Fair enough, everything is subjective and I have enjoyed the discussion.
I'm sure he hasn't...ffs
WTF are u going on about 😂
your a social worker and your favourite player was Scot Mahon.....what more do you want me to go on about?......how's your empathy time?
John, we're already doing that with extending junior forwards. And they're costing less than $500k a pop.
The more the merrier Super !
I hope this is true.
1 million is more than he should get, but it's the price set by the market.
We will get value out of him with a great Halfback helping take advantage of the platform he helps lay.
Very happy. Even better if Junior agree to extend on a modest contract.
Great group of forwards here:
De-Belin, Moretti, Hopgood, Doorey, Latu, Kautoga, Koloamatagi, Paulo, Ryda, Walker, Tuivaiti, Funa-luta, Williams, Guymer.
And more coming through with Polley, Petrus, Popo to name a few.
Yep exactly! Very excited about the next 3 years. Top 8, top 4, GF. That's my expectations.
Good signing and the price is fair, considering haas and tino want 1.4, keon at 1mill sounds about right. I think once the tv deal is anounced 1mill for his calibre would be good value
