Eels Supporters Based Outside of Sydney

To all supporters based outside of Sydney,

I am thinking of appraching the club with the view to putting together a "country supporters" membership package for 2012. I am a non-ticketed member as I am based 2 hours away from Parra, in my "younger" days I was a ticketed member and went to every home game for 5-6 seasons. My life is very different these days with many commitements that prevent me from attending more than about 4 home games a season. I would imagine that there are others out there in my position also.

In light of this somethig like the below may be beneficial to country supporters;

- Blueblood membership

- Football Club membership

- 2 x Tickets to 4 home games

- Provision for discounted accommodation (or inclusion) to an affiliated hotel in Parramatta

Premium memberships could include signed jersey's etc.

I feel that this would be a great way for the club to engage the many Parra fans outside of Sydney and possible boost crown numbers.

Thoughts?

I have paid for memberships for this year but prolly wont get to many games. I live about 8hrs drive away... so that sort of package would be good!!

i thought they already had sometime similar to this as regional eels membership just without the hotel discounts.
I live 6 hrs away so don't get to any games unless we make the GF as that is a long weekend and the only way i can get away due to business commitments.
I'm quite happy with the Blue Blood membership for me but i can see what you mean.

Good idea. I think Manly offer a 2 or 3 game membership package. Don't know if you get to nominate your games, but surely this sort of flexibility could be on offer. Parramatta Stadiumisn't exactly sold out every week...at the moment.

They have a pack in the current memberships options which I have copied for you to look at, you can find all packages on the eels home site . You can always contact the girls at memberships to find out more info.

So what would you propose for Interstate or Overseas supporters guys?

GF 2009 my return airfare would have been around $1500.
Add accommodation - taxi or car hire - meals - game entry at lowest level of $65 and guess what.

I haven't won lotto yet !!!!!!!!!!!!

Tough call to be able to put something together to adequately cater for people outside of Sydney

  give that a try if not it is on the parraeels website under memberships tab 2nd fro the right and then click on ticketed memberships
