Are those stats adjusted for the value of tries changing?

Comparing two completely different teams from two completely different eras...what's the point of this?
Although from 2 different eras and different rules it still displays some optimism for this year. Even the great teams ( The Eels in their best era) can have some huge losses and still win. So there is still some hope even if only small. We dont give up until its finally over.
