How do these stats compare to the 2020 Eels under Brad Arthur coaching? Just thought I'd throw it out there.

3rd on ladder

Biggest Loss (rd 21) 20-6 to the Roosters.

1982

21 wins 5 losses

For 619 Against 242

1st on ladder

Biggest Losses 20-0 to Manly (Major Semi) and 31-14 to Manly (rd 19)

1983

2nd on ladder

For 639 Against 293

Biggest Loss 32-2 to Dragons (rd 26)

18 wins 8 losses

1986

1st on ladder

For 446 Against 280

Biggest Loss

30-18 to Manly (rd 13)

  • Are those stats adjusted for the value of tries changing?

    • I would assume so Super. However, dont quote me on it.

  • Comparing two completely different teams from two completely different eras...what's the point of this?

    • Although from 2 different eras and different rules it still displays some optimism for this year. Even the great teams ( The Eels in their best era) can have some huge losses and still win. So there is still some hope even if only small. We dont give up until its finally over.
