I believe in Morts as i think he comes from a very stong honest family.
He needs to add 5 to 7 kilos to his frame but you are right i think Kearney will not be as patient and will be able to make clear cut decisions based on form.
But Morts hopefully will tell the coach not to pick him if it comes to that before the coach tells him.
MK is my tip to surprise everyone next year. I think he'll work his arse off after a disappointing season and that he'll find another level under Kearney. One of my biggest criticisms of Ando's coaching is that he has never given his dummy halves much playmaking responsibility. It's just run or pass. You would imagine Kearney will want his dummy half to have more impact aka Cameron Smith and I think that's MKs go. I'm sure few of you will agree, and that's fine, please don't use this as an excuse to hack him.
I still don't think we'll get Orford. I just can't see Bradford letting him go and nor do I see a two-year deal working for us, either.
Fair game 1EE. If Matt Keating can develop his attacking game where he could not previously than good luck to him. I just thought he looked stale this year and he throws a dummy that needs some work.
Who do you think will be the halves? Murray? Will we not need an elder statesman to manufacture the Hanye / Morts / Murray / MItcheel spine?
Murray and Mortimer is a terrible combination in my view. Neither have a strong running game so you won't get any penetration through the middle and we'll end up with the same situation we had this year where sides simply slided early to cover Hayne.
If Hayne isn't going to be five-eighth, I'd put Humble at five-eighth. We need at least one of our halves to be able to test the line.

I think thats a bit harsh, we need youth and guide them not by old farts like Orford. Orford has been playing footy since Jesus was playing fullback for jerusalum!

I wonder if Kearney may seek Hayne out for the five-eight role....
i also think Mortimer may become a full time hooker.
