As AFL recruit "Air Izzy" began training with the Greater Western Sydney Giants yesterday, the Eels snapped up his sibling.
Eni is expected to play in the under-20s Toyota Cup competition in 2011 while his famous brother cuts his teeth in Aussie rules.
Eni Folau played for Easts Tigers under-18s and under-20s this year.
He is a big-bodied centre/winger, in the mould of his older brother, but not blessed with the same freakish skills according to talent scouts.
They have questioned whether Eni will blossom into an NRL-quality player, but his presence at the Eels could help heal the rift between the Folaus and the 13-man code, should Israel opt to return to the NRL in 2015 once his AFL contract with GWS expires
go parraaaaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck to you Izzy junior!
Not a great wrap that. Hopefully he'll kick on.
i am not stirring shite its a genuine question!
We can now start a new rumour thread about the grand plan to sign Israel Folau by getting chummy with his younger brother and family.
I think the problem with rugby league isnt so much the scouting and procuring of talent but actually what we do with the players once we have them at our clubs.
The structure is bad that we do not give players the best chance to grow.
I reckon a loan system should be implemented that way we could send a young player to a club who have a hole in their first grade side to get some experience. We could send them to esl for a year etc.
Although i'm sure Eni is a solid footy player, by the raps on him I assume he is just another typical Islander type player (not intended to be rascist) just a big boy with an athletic frame and natural ability, you could compare him to Izzy Folau's older brother (name escapes me) who played for Easts reggies for a few seasons and was dead average but was hyped up because he was a Folau.
Eni may well prove to be a quality player but whether he can show class above all the other youngsters plying their trade in the lower grades would be highly questionable especially because he has been playing club footy not Matts or Sg Ball. Remeber Izzy was playing first grade at 17 and for Australia at 18.
Atleast its a signing though :P
