Eels Rookie of the year

This year we have given 1st grade debuts to a string of players so much question is who of this bunch would you award rookie of the year.

Haze Dunster (1 game last year but effectively a rookie) 10 games 3 tries tackle efficacy 76% average run meters 63

Wiremu Greig- 2 games tackle efficacy 90%

Jacob Arthur-  6 games 2 tries 2 try assists. Tackle efficacy 86.3%

Sean Russell- 1 game 2 tries

Makahesi Makatoa- 3 games tackle efficacy 95.4% average run meters 77

Will Penisini- 3 games 1 try average run meters 67 Tackle efficacy 89.7%

For me I'd give it to Penisini or Makka

  • I'd say Penisini or Dunster

  • Should be Penisini, Dunster or Maka but watch it go to Jakob Arthur..

    • Oh that would be the most controversial rookie of the year ever lol

  • Has to be Penisini, he is making the biggest impact to our team. He has filled a spot we were desperately lacking in

    • Yes, based on his potential Penisini is our man.

  • I would say Will. Could go to Dunster I guess, but it is out of those two for mine. Can you imagine the uproar on here if JA gets it🤣🤣🤣

  • according to some, there haven't been any juniors come through to debut, so must be a moot point 🤣🤣🤣
