  That is good news. While only young he has shown to be a class above others of his age and with continued development can only get better.

  One point in this is age, and no unreal expectations are placed on him.

  RISING star Tui Afualo made quite the impression in 2016 and it seems he’s been rewarded for his efforts.

  According to Triple M, the Parramatta junior has signed a three-year deal with the club that will see him remain with the Blue-and-Gold until 2019.

  The 17-year-old centre played six games for the Eels NYC side – scoring two tries and making 60 tackles – and also represented the NSW under 18’s in this years State of Origin series.

  Blues coach Brad Fittler labelled the youngster a “powerhouse” after his dominant performance helped them wrap up the junior series with a 26-0 shutout of the Maroons at Suncorp Stadium.

  The news will come as a welcome boost for fans who have had to endure the turmoil surrounding star winger Semi Radradra.

    Wow, looks like his parents lost his birth certificate. Tui appears at least 25yo.

  I've never seen him play a game but this appears to be a good move by the club, according to reports?

  The bloke has some size for an under 18's player!

  A three year deal for one so young is a great vote of confidence in both parties. Hope he develops as well as the club expect him to.

    Tui is a Lethbridge Park primary school junior. V strong. He is not very tall, but tough and strong.

    lol he will end up at the Bulldogs and play NSW Cup in a few years, the hype is reminding me a lot like Jacob Loko.

  I saw him in a game against Wyong Roo's last year, along with a couple of others was quite impressive even then, and the Wyong side was not that bad, but the eels walloped them.
