Parramatta are trying to get to the bottom of it.“Thankfully, the NRL has been quite understanding. The club is trying to find out what it can and are working through everything.“The club hasn’t breached the cap but they would have had Peats kept the car.”Mark Gasnier on Foran, Eels and the Titans' halves crisisParramatta are discovering several promises made to players weren’t officially documented or ratified.Another source said: “Parramatta are systematically going through everything.”The drama comes as Parramatta fight to keep star signing Foran.Manly hope Foran will walk away from the Eels and stay at Brookvale — but that appears unlikely.“A lot of effort and resources have gone into making sure those players (like Foran) mature and they are great players,” said Sea Eagles coach Geoff Toovey. “I have spoken to him, he has to sort those issues out with his management.“And obviously it may leave a little door open for him to stay here as well. The club would be wanting to retain both halves and I still maintain that.“His contract with Parramatta was set in place and now things have changed. I’m not sure what happened but obviously the Manly club has always interested in keeping both halves.“There is no denying that but the situation hasn’t changed from the end of last year, the beginning of this year. We still thought we were in a competitive market and possibly able to retain both halves. I think that still remains the case.”

  • And the hits just keep coming
    • It's like watching a car accident in slow motion, you know what's going to happen, but there's nothing you can do to stop it....you just hope and pray that the fall out won't be too serious.....that's what it feels like right now being a parra supporter. Seriously when will this shit stop.....we need accredited/successful business people running our club. Too many years of dodgy/ unsuccessful/ego driven idiots running our once great and mighty club has lead us to this. Please let this week end.
  • Oh well nathan. I'm sure if you are provided a company car and it gets taken away you wouldn't pack your bags and leave. I understand why he would be pissed but this article is as low as Matthew John's.

Be original with your reporting and stop bashing our club scumbags.
  • Repo Man (1984). Great movie. "Most people in life avoid tense situations, Repo man spends his life getting into tense situations". Did Peats put up a fight? Lol
  • As I have said before how many Bronco's players have vehicles. None of which are counted in the salary cap . All organised by the club but regarded as third party deals. The salary cap is a joke and third party deals must be counted.
  • Mods. Please.
  • Wow, seward was a clown. Hope the money was worth your reputation.
    • Is it all the CEO ? Isn't DA the cap man ?
    • He became a clown once he said 2 premierships by 2020. The way it's going Parra won't make 2 finals by 2020. The guy had to go.
    • Kurupt when seward comes out and tells all well see who has egg on their face.
Be interesting who's signatures are on the for mean contracts.
