Parramatta Eels have released James Hasson, effective immediately.
The English-born prop forward made his NRL debut for Manly in 2013, before joining Parramatta in 2016.
Parramatta Eels thank James for his contribution to our Club and wish him all the best for the future.

Should never have bought him, he was a complete dud at his previous club, their fans used to say he was the worst forward on the park every single week, you couldnt even notice him on the park he was so poor, its very strange Brad signed him and most of us called it at the time.
He didn't play a single game for us.
Can only imagine that he was really ever Wenty material.
He wasnt on big money so it was an each way bet.
Bennett told Ross he wasnt good enough for first grade too.
Coaches get it wrong sometimes
I know he didnt but he did for Manly, you dont buy a player with the hope of him going backwards.
Hasson was clearly a stop-gap solution in the case of a forward injury crisis which never really eventuated. Given our prop stocks have been bolstered with Matagi, Vave and next year Kane Evans there was no real point in holding onto him.
Another great purchase from Manly...
