The Dyldam Parramatta Eels NRL and Holden Cup teams, will be required to wear specified headgear onto the field against the Wests Tigers, in Monday night's clash at ANZ Stadium. All members of the squad have been issued specialized headgear as a precautionary measure, as a result of the $25,000 fine inflicted by the NRL'S more stringent concussion rules.Parramatta coach Brad Arthur had rubber stamped the proposal at short notice, and had mentioned it would be used as a preventative measure, on a trial basis only.#NRL #rugby-leagueGuys, I thought this article must be a gee up. I can't believe it.

  • Can't imagine Watmough wearing headgear.
  • LOL, One of your best chief.

  • Wouldn't it be funny if they really did it just to stick it to the NRL?

  • My understanding is the headgear all players must wear consists of a bambillo pillow stuck to a surplus Eels member cap....
  • Maybe the headgear can also consist of a face mask, so that the NRL can't be sure which player has left the field and which has just come on.
  • Chief, your'e a head-case i luv it.
