With zero state of origin players or Australian representatives, it's very difficult to understand how we could be anywhere near the 9.5 million dollar cap the roosters are claiming to be on.This is a very rough estimate - feel free to evaluate each contract.1. French 380k2. Hoffman 2503. Jennings 6804. Takairangi 3005. Gutherson 3806. Norman 7007. Moses 7508. Mannah 300 cap9. King 20010. Matagi 30011. Manu 43012. Moeroa 50013 Brown 35014. Edwards 35015. Scott 50016. Alvaro 30017. Vave 30018. Auva'a 15019. Smith 15020. Pritchard 25021. Gower 15022. Terepo 25023. Evans 300That's approximately 7.5 million.give or take.Where is the other 2 million?OK there's players 24-30But still we should be under by at least 1.4 million considering we have zero state or Aus/NZ representatives bar Taka.And I reckon I've over estimate a few.

Probably pretty close to the mark I reckon . I'd guess Manu Mau would be on closer to 500 and evans might be a bit closer to 400. And another 100k (50 each) between Moses and Norman.

That leaves us about $900k to spend by my reckoning, taking into consideration 7 contracts of minimum wage. Two good props, or one and some upgrades to Brown and Gutho.

Matagi / Vave won't be on $300k, closer to $150-$200k

French / Alvaro / Pritchard will be on less.

Brown hasn't been upgraded yet so still on $180 k or so.

It has been mentioned GL has re-signed, so there is probably $150k or so.

didnt Bernie recently say we are about 1m (give or take) under for 2018.

Reports on Fritchard were that he had signed for 2017 on 120k.

Jennings maybe a bit higher now there is full freight on his contract.

Based on this and Rothfields report we could sign Napalm, Friend, and JWH from the Roosters and pay them more than they are currently on and still be under the cap. NRL is a joke!
