EELS PLAYERS OT STAR IN SOO.

At the insistent nagging from Slugg here is the first of a series of meaningless blogs about (King) Clint Gutherson and Junior Paulo being named for the first game of SOO.

Gutho had a very fragile year but eventually managed to snare the Dally M Fullback of the year. Pundits were quoted as saying Teddy and others were robbed but it just goes ot show, if you play your cards right and do the right media interviews anything is possible.

Gutherson is a renowned Centre in the game having once (successfully) played this postion as a junior in U10s, Freddy Fittler was quoted in an interview as saying, "Gutho is a perfect fit for the Blues team, he loves running through the long grass in bare feet to Feel his connection with the earth."

However Gutherson is not expected to play in bare feet which might hinder hs ability to connect. Several big Maroons forwards have said they will be happy to connect Clint to the earth on every possible occassion.

Now to Junior Paulo.

Although quite small and not very agile for a forward Brad Fittler has every belief the diminuitive player will be able to hold his own in this game, unlike Russel Packer who could not hold it all in.

Junior said, "I just love playing for Brad, he is the best coach I have ever met and I will do anything for him"

When questioned about which Brad he was referring to, Junior went beetroot red and left the room.

After such an exciting season for Eels fans, and being bundled out of the finals in their customary manner, the west is now going off like a frog in a sock.

Parramatta Council has lodged a complaint with the Prramatta Leagues club over all the drool and dribble they have to clean up along Eels Place and all the way to Church Street.

A spokes person for the club denied it has anything to do with them, and is due to the fans salivating over the prospect of seeing two of their favourites in the first round of SOO.

A protest march is being organised outside League Headquarters, then onto Fittler's home, to have RCG and Nathan Brown included in this historic event. More on this in out next bulletin.

    • Thank you Eel of66, we have been trying to think of the perfect candidate to join the mods team as the moderator of Stupid blogs or Sergeant Stupid as would be your new title.A word of warning though,if you think this may be the job for you,it could be the busiest job on the team .Interested?

    • E of 66 - shows how stupid you are for replying imo.

  • How rigged are Dally Ms? If Jack Wighton received Dally M for No 6 and best player but can't hold his position in SOO. Teddy is incumbent otherwise I'd question that.

"The best thing for blaize and any other talented junior in our system would have been to leave two years ago. If you didn't play for the rousehill rhinos you ain't getting developed under BA."

Utoikamanu was on a development contract with us, probably around the $100-120k mark, Tigers paid $350k. Same with Sanders, he has no future here until Moses and/or Brown leave, and that's not…"
