Wading through the new eels web site I found the following link https://www.parraeels.com.au/teams/
A new updated page with most eels photo's but there is a black spot for new signings in Evans and Hayne Trex and for Nathan Davis.
What struck me more than anything is the jersey's they are wearing are different to what I have seen so far, maybe I am wrong but its strange especially with new jersey designs being bandied around.
When clicking on the photo's you open the details about the player which is much better than previous years views, there is also a notice saying. More in-depth player and club stats to come in 2018
Of interest is looking at the following link page https://www.parraeels.com.au/teams/?competition=113
which shows no photo's just names in a full lot of black galleries of the players in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW including some that have already left or retired. that is a bit strange.
I have to say this part of the upgraded eels webb page is very promising and will be good to see the player pages when completed especially the gallery pages.

We don’t have a half- back and only one winger
The pages are weird in many respects as I said in the intro. I actually like the way its set up and I guess they have simply pasted much of the old galleries across and the respective data, need to wait and see it when finalised I guess.
Notice there is 7 props and 4 fullbacks listed. Wonder who’ll get the chop.
I would suggest that many of the players are listed according their abilities to play in either one or multiple positions both in the forwards and backs, Its not something exclusive to the players mentioned here and I don't see the word utility used.
I do like the breaking down of the players into the forwards and backs, and look forward to the 2018 update, the eels home page is certainly an improvement and no doubt work in practice.
Well at least they’re all wearing the same gear and none of them have band aids on their shirts to cover up holes . ( pat on the back for Hooters McGee )
