After a horrible second half last week, eels have many changes with the NRL squad having a bye.
- As off now, no one has been named in number 4.
- Harper got an injury during the first half last week
- Russel did not play any grade last week so he could play
- Tago could play
- Alameddine has been listed in Flegg after getting a taste of cup. He did well in attack and was alright in defence. Hopefully back in the cup squad next week after the NRL bye.
- I assume Martyn is stll injured
- Would love to see Twiddle get a go over Cini.
- MA return to cup to get some minutes with Lussick demoted to the bench. Keir out of the side,
- Asi returns so Lynn drops back to Flegg.Ogden (pectorial) and Mataele (hamstring) return after a long time on the sidelines. Plus Doorey returns.
- As such, Pryke and Tupou return to the flegg side.
- Alderton and Spicer dropped out fo the side.
- Moretti given a rest have a good game against Titans.

Looking forward to big Toni finally playing again. Still only turned 22 this year and had a horror run with injuries the past 2 seasons. I haven't given up on him yet. He needs to find his feet these last 8 games, stay injury free and head into a big pre-season with a new coaching staff.
Brazel continues to impress me. Something we don't have on an edge at the moment. Someone who goes hard and is super aggressive in defence. If there is a bit of a clean our of the forwards he is a chance of a bench spot next year. If he continues on this upward trajectory.
Also, I'm glad Moretti isn't playing. I really hope he gets a chance to cement his place in the 1s side. He is exactly the type of middle we need and gets better each time I see him play first grade.
What happened to wiremu man. He had a streak of good performances last year making 200m a game and he just slid after the lisfranc injury
Wiremu is out of cup today. I assume it is because he will be used in NRL next week. Guymer is out for the season with the ankle injury.
Dont understand EA, why would you rest a player a week out for a game, when that player needs every bit of conditioning he can get.....am I missing something?
Yea no idea. You would think players fringe players like Moretti and Tago could go with games in cup.
