  • I think if we want to make an impressions in the finals we need Pauli Pauli on the bench.

    • I'm a Pauli fan but if you had been at Wenty on Sunday you wouldn't give him a run in the NRL. A few forwards not on contracts showed more desire in that game.

    • No chance 1eyed, have a read of 40/20s commentary of last week's Wenty game. Pauli is carrying too much weight or his fitness levels are not there which is contributing to the error rate. I predict that with Mau back he's no chance of cracking the NRL 17 for the remainder of the season and to be 18th man you're just perpetuating the problem. I'd rather Ben Smith at this stage. And push Pauli to the 20s for some serious game time and confidence boost.
  • coach: Brad Arthur.

  • Would prefer Gower to be starting lock
    • x 2

    • X3
    • x4

    • For the fun of it x5
    • The hate for Paulo here is pretty high but IMHO BA is playing these 2 players to their respective strengths. Paulo would have little impact off the bench when compared to Gower's direct attack. However Paulo's movement across the line has a chance (be it small in some peoples opinion) of pulling defenders out when they are full of energy.

I also think that it would be a mistake to put Gower in at starting lock as he has a niggling injury which IMO should not be put through the riggers of early game defence.

Finally Paulo has had no errors or given any penalties in the last 2 games. I hope he can keep it up.

Now if they paid $100k to come out, watch them all line up."
