  Our season would have been alot better if we had a little luck as well, and held onto some of those games we were in front and fell over

    Exactly we didn't play horribly this season and we were actually quite consistent, unfortunately it was a final 10 minutes which let us down.

  Absolutely - Rooters and Raiders also disasters based on expectations coming in to 2011.

  Well I don't know about anyone else on here, but the Eels season definitely disappointed me more than any of those other teams.

  My view was that obviously we as supporters were disappointed in our season but the media really hammered us when we were losing and fell out of finals contention when a lot of those other teams weren't being scrutinised even though they'd done a lot better last season.

    Its a glass half full/half empty thing mate. Its a good spin on it but some just won't be able to see it that way.

  Unfortunately we sucked this year we really have no excuses at the end of day we let go of two players that are now playing in the finals. I think we are heading in the same direction next year sorry to say . I think our recruitment has been just as bad as last year sandow has taken alot of cap and i feel his type of play won suit parra . Paid over for roberts who at best is a reserve grade player and we probably paid overs for the tonga brothers please we paid over for one injury prone player and one that hasnt played consistent first grade . Many of you have high hopes for this team for 2012. I think were in alot of trouble playing bellamy style football who won on the weekend structure or ad lib football? You guessed it ad lib we are struggling big time , dont get me wrong i will support this team till i die but changes need to be made coaches players bring back who want to play for the club not money hungry players eg sandow roberts and tonga our team has gone backwards since 2009

  I think Kearney has signed Roberts because he thinks he can mould him to suit the structure that he wants.

  I'm excited about Sandow and Roberts together with Hayne Looming. I think we will be hard to stop.

  We were nowhere near the true disappointments but your logic is out IMO... overall we played closer to our ability than most teams outside the 8.. The Titans were by far the most disappointing followed by a few teams in Roosters, Canberra and Penrith.
