There has still not been a forward who could single handedly dominate a game like The Bear. Jr Paulo has shown glimpses but Bob could dominate for 80 minutes. What a player.
There is some quite good footage of Ken Thornett in the first few minutes of this clip. I don't agree with all of these players chosen but just the footage of Ken is fabulous.
Thanks for that PT.I don,t know what it is but my attachment to those Parra days will never be equaled by any era after those days.. The game has changed in so many ways. I think players in those days had more of a hero status and created a real heart and soul cultural identity for me. I don,t feel that anymore with Parra.It is more like a business now and doesn,t connect as well as it did in those days. Maybe an age thing--I don,t know.
How the fuck aren't any of our players in their stupid immortals circle jerk? There's about 4 players in that bunch that were better than Mal Meninga , and a couple that were better than a few of the others too.
Isn't it funny how old the players looked back then compared to the older players now. He honestly looks like he could be old enough to be my dad and I'm almost 45.
