St George Illawarra Dragons hooker Cameron King is a recent graduate of the Club’s National Youth Competition team with three seasons of first-grade experience to draw from.
The Wagga junior made his first-grade debut against the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the final round of the 2010 campaign and has played six first-grade games in total.
King made five first-grade appearances for the Red V last season but was sidelined for several weeks due to a thumb injury.
Furthermore, King also made 15 reserve-grade appearances for the Illawarra Cutters in the NSW Cup.
His performances for the Scarlett’s earnt him selection into the New South Wales Residents representative squad.
King scored the winning try in the Club’s World Club Challenge campaign in 2011 after being a late addition to the travelling squad.
The dummy-half featured for three seasons in the Club’s NYC team and was named in the Young Kangaroos squad in 2011.
