The Rabbitohs definitely have some momentum behind them and it's undeniable that we peaked mid season where as the Rabbitohs are peaking now. We have had a suspension and a few injuries coming out of last week to deal with.
But all of that means nothing for 80 minutes on Saturday. Unlike last weekend this is sudden death football for the Eels and it's time for us to get this monkey off of our back and go at least 1 week further into the finals. We need to want this more than Souths, and we should.
Let's end their season and end the smugness of Bennett, of Crowe and of everyones favourite (alleged) wife beating (alleged) phlandering (alleged) drug addict Souths superstar and poster boy Sammy Burgess.
when the storm skipped to an 18 point lead, last years Eels' heads would have dropped and the game a blowout. This years Eels were still positive and in for the fight and they kept Melbourne scoreless for the last 18 minutes of the game.

As much as I hate journos, they are spot on.
We played them at home a few weeks ago and got thrashed.
With injuries and suspensions, we are down on troops and well and truly fucked.
Just look at the bench to see how bad it is.
I will be watching the game and cheering the boys on but this will be our last game for the year.

I feel like we're set for a bit of a sucker punch. Souths are seemingly the darlings at the moment. People seem to forget they were taught a lesson by the Bulldogs only a few weeks back. It's backs to the wall for us, nobody expects anything and the pressure is all on Souths. So let's see what happens when we take it to them. We were good last week even with both wingers being injured and having to play Davey and Smith in the centres.
I think our forward pack is as good as Southe but there spine and backs will destroy us.They have spped, better kicking game and will hammer our rightside, and then the left.
Yeah some callers on radio are saying they reckon Souths could beat Penrith. It's as if the game against us has already happened.
My two best mates are long term Souths supporters. Whilst they are very confident of winning - they also fear which Souths team will turn up to play. If they start slow ike they did against KNights they know we are good enough to beta them at Bankwest. Both were drolling at the thought of Cody running at will at our edges and and Cam MURRY trailing through the middle .... had to agree ....
We are as good as them. They have great mommentum building and obviously teh supoervior attacvking game. However the rank high for penalties conceded, dropped balls and discipline areas So we might get a good start and skip away a bit. Hope so.
