"We're hearing Rabbitohs prop Nathan Brown could be their first signing. The club is also looking at Raiders halfback Sam Williams to add depth to their play-making ranks," reports Josh Massoud.
Nathan Brown, 23, has been dubbed the NRL's biggest thug. But his aggressive style has seen him become one of the NRL's most damaging forwards.

Souths coach Michael Maguire described him as a forward who 'plays on the edge'.
"Seriously I think he’s a good kid but he’s playing on the edge when fatigue sets in. He’s got to be more aware of those moments in the game," said Maguire, earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Channel Seven's Josh Massoud understands NRL veteran Jeff Robson will hang up the boots at the of the season.
“My mail is that Jeff Robson WON'T play in 2017,” Massoud tweeted.
“But he could perform an off field role with the Parramatta Eels. They're looking at [Raiders] Sam Williams.”
The 33-year-old Robson joined the Eels after being granted a release from the New Zealand Warriors on compassionate grounds in July.
Alongside his role as halfback, the NRL veteran has been working alongside the young and developing centres and second rowers in Parramatta's reserve grade side.

Damn if we get Williams where does that leave the FOG?
I guess FOG will be the Old Man Down the Road
Sam be good buy for wenty but hope we get Browy
Back ups
J Fogarty
M Cornish
Luke Kelly gone
I don't know much about Williams. Opinions?
Just once it would be good if we bought a half back on the fringe of NRL who came over improved out of sight and turned into a decent first grade half back. Not the normal trend of buying a fringe grade NRL half them playing worst then expected and hanging around like a bad smell for three seasons.
The Fog has more talant in his little finger.
