I think our attack is pretty good. It just lacks quality 2-5 espicialy to finish movements off. That little extra speed and atheleticsm would make a big difference to our attack. If our new coach recuirts well (need more than Lomax) that this will be an easy fix.
Our defence tonight was not only because of our outside backs. Russel was as bad as Asi against the Dogs. Penisni been shocking too. Our middles defence was poor too. Simply not wrapping the ball up when we had numerous players in the tackle. Also our middles failing to keep sliding and staying on their toes when coming across. It was our downfall many times tonight and that is simply attitude. Learn from Guymer.
ALSO I DO NOT WANT TO BE A DICKHEAD BUT FOR HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN CALLING FOR GUYMER AND TAGO TO BE IN THE FUCKING NRL SIDE. I DO NOT GIVE THEM WRAPS FOR THE SAKE OF IT. I DO IT BECAUSE IK THEY WILL BE BETTER THAN WHAT WE HAVE.
P.S. While I like Tago, even more as a centre, I am a firm believe he is a quality depth player and not your first choice outside back. Take him over Harper and Russel any day.

Unfortunately we have no outside backs to really choose from. If Martyn was not injured and had a string of cup games I would have played him.
Don't mind this team, id prob start matto at lock just to take the pressure off guymer a tad.
Nah I have notcied Matto is horrible when he starts at lock. He was good today. He is better through the middle than on the edge because he is a solid 1 on 1 defender and his carry style does not suit a backrow. He makes good meters per carry but its not the hard running style you want a backrow to have.
Lane again does not have the intensity to start so can have a cameo off the bench.
Fair call, we actually still have a decent enough lineup there with all the injuries. Lot of the cup lads just in better form then the nrl blokes
The forward pack is still decent. If they had a good attitude they would be good.
Our outside backs are just horific.
Seems like Blaize is slowly learning the wing spot and made mostly good decisions defensively in this game. Keeps scoring as well, at least the young guys are putting their hand up
Could swap tago to centre and push Russell to the wing but not sure that changes much really. Harper or Russell relatively similar level
I thought of that but Russel deserves to be dropped after that stinker in attack and defence.
Tago looked better as he went. I think he can be a nice depth piece for 2025.
Guymer though, my word he is just a goer, we need that in the middle. The bloke would play a full 80 then back up for another full 80 5 mins later.
Yep there is a reason I said the club view him in high regards and as a leader. Showed it today in leading the collisions in defence. My first every comparison I made for him over a year ago was Jurbo and Liam Martin and wow he did not disappoint. Made me look good with his game today ahah.
