Injury List - Round 12

Hey everyone,

This might clear up some confusion over who is & isn't available to play this week (and why Seffa has made it back in)...

See the latest updates on the Dyldam Parramatta Eels squad as we head into Round 12 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

David Gower suffered an ankle sprain in Round 9 against the Storm, and the second-rower will miss Round 12 as his injury is assessed on a week-to-week basis.

Peni Terepo sustained a pectoral injury in Friday night's match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs and will miss the rest of the 2015 season.

Richie Fa'aoso has incurred a shoulder injury, and will be sidelined for an indefinite period of time.

Isaac De Gois is undergoing surgery this week for facial fractures and will miss approximately 10 more weeks of competition.

The new additions to the injury list leave the Eels with a total of 10 unavailable players with the folowing yet to return.

Darcy Lussick - Round 13 (suspension)

Adam Quinlan - Round 14-16 (knee)

Vai Toutai - Round 14 (knee)

Beau Champion – Season (knee)

Kenny Edwards – Season (knee)

Kaysa Pritchard – Indefinite (pectoral)

    • That's alright :)

Yeah - of all those players, Gower is the one I'm most keen on. Puts in 100% each game.

  • Thank fark for that.
Here I was thinking BA only picked Seffa cause he LOVED the guy.
Personally I would play with 16 rather than give Seffa another shot at dazzling our opponents and confusing the shit out of our players.
    • lol

I believe if we are still able too blood some youngsters.

our season is gone if we a realistic

    • Shouldn't we be on top.
    • What is wrong with our squad, I believe from about round 1 we have had at least 5 consistently injured or suspended. Was the same last year. Our squad is poor enough without all these problems compounding that as well.

  • BTW 25 - 10 = 15

    Also

The only teams to make the top 7 with more than 3 injuries have played us twice

  • Really 10 players out ?
    Vai Tauta meh
    Adam Quinlan meh
    Kaysa meh
    Champion meh fill in player.

Fa'aoso meh Alvaro will be better

De gois meh was only signed as a back up

    Terepo meh Average bench player.

Seriously only 3 top graders are out of action.
    • 25-10 still = 15

      15 is still < 17

    • I understand where your coming from, but surely some dispensation should be allowed considering our injury toll.

Don't think Toutai and Quinlan are top 25.
