For the NRL Round 4 match at Allianz Stadium we see the Sydney Roosters take on the mighty Parramatta Eels. Prior to this fixture The Rugby League Museum will feature the Heroes and Legends experience with two of Parramatta’s great stalwarts making an appearance in Luke Burt and John “Bomber” Peard. Burt represented the Blue and Gold’s from 1999 to 2012 playing in 264 first grade matches. Burt also represented the Country Origin team in 2010 and the Prime Ministers XIII in 2011. John Peard – nicknamed “Bomber” for his revolutionary towering punt kick – played with three clubs before donning the Parramatta jersey in 1976 – 1978. John represented New South Wales in four interstate matches as well as 11 Test Matches for the Australian Kangaroos.
Luke and John will be sharing their stories in the Rugby League Museum as part of the Heroes and Legends experience this Easter Monday.

Yeah, would love to hear some old tales from John “Bomber” Peard. This guy could have been a comedian in another life and the stroke he suffered over a decade ago hasn't slowed him down too much.
