Hoping Moses can make the origin side - think it would greatly improve his game
We have no emerging or future blues ATM but Trey Mooney is the only jumior that we recently lost that I think will come back to bite us

Until Mitchell Moses can prove he can perform on big games against top opposition he has zero chance of Origin . He can put in MOM performances all he wants against crap sides but it's how he performs against the top sides that matters and he has yet to perform against a top side with top side with top players , yes he won Dally M of half of the year but so did Luke Brooks last year so it don't mean much .
Moses only hope is if John's can help him , Moses has never really had a proper coach to help and teach him .

The experience and advice he would get being in the SOO side would also be a big help with game management and how to play big games
Throw him in the big game deep end and see if he swims
How can you you throw him in the deep end I on origin when he had yet to prove himself against top opposition in the NRL?
They did the same with Nathan Cleary the kid had been in the NRL 5 minutes and Freddy picked him.
Cleary didn't have the best year and Freddy still picked him.Moses had a better year than he did.
As for performing in big games Moses carried the Eels last year for the most part and when the team needed a performance from him he produced for the most part.
All Moses needs is a foward pack to win in the middle more consistently and you'll see more of those big wins against better teams.

This rubbish about Moses not having a forward pack is hilarious , look at all the games the eels dominanted possession , dominated field position and had the most tackles inside the opposition 20 yet still struggled to win because the team could not score .
A perfect example is the the knights game where the eels struggled to win , parra had a record 82 tackles inside the knights 20 yet what did Moses do ? How many tries did he set up with a pass ? With ball playing skils ? He onlly can kick . What did he do in the semi against Storm ? Parra had 38 tackles inside the storm 20 and Moses did even get close to setting up a try , when you are inside the opposition 20 your platform is set and it's up to a players playmaking ability and ball playing skills .
Again in case I missed it Coryn tell me when Moses has performed against the top tesms who top players ?
The Eels lost 11 games last season. In 8 of those matches the Eels lost the key stats of time in possession, completion percentage and possession percentage.
Let's take that Storm semi for example. The Eels had a completion percentage of 50%. They made 14 errors.
Now correct me if I'm wrong but did Moses win Halfback of the Year or not? Did he provide the most try assists across the season?
Super luke Brooks won half back of the year last year so it's not a big deal and dont forget that he won Half back of the year playing in a team with the one of the easiest draws in recent memory , it's not as if he won the award playing top footy against broth top sides and crap sides .
90% of Moses try assists came from kicks , a lot of his try assists from kicks were from either the opposition dropping or fumbling the ball into a eels player to score or a eels player batted the ball back to a eels player to score , some were from beautiful kicks that were to goof for the defence .
Super tell me how many tries did Moses set up with ball playing skills ? By breaking the line ? by displaying good ball playing skills and throwing a beautiful pass ?
Super you fail to mention the stats where the eels had all the possession , all the field position and tackle after tackle inside the opposition 20 yet still struggled to win , you also haven't told me when Moses has performed against a top side ?
He beat the Raiders in Darwin almost by himself. Scored a solo try with a brilliant line breaking effort. Kicked astutely and I think he got man of the match. Raiders were runners up in 2019. Hope that qualifies.
