Eels Future looking the goods.

With our first grade team proving they are a top 4 team and are on the rise, we still have alot of improvment in us. The loss of semi will hurt, but i am very exited about Greg leleisiuao, he,s stats are out of this world, with the under 20,s team making the grand final, the eels future is looking bright. We are on the way to succes, we now have our front office in good shape, and the playing group are buying into a very good culture that BA has implemented, No one has been in trouble of the field besides Teripo,sCar problems early in the season we have stayed out of trouble and have given the mediaNothing to write about than Parra playing good footy, this was very inportant, as we strive to repair our brand, Major sponsers wil lineing up soon, and i have no doubt that Burnie and MaxWill get the job done, with our new stadium being biult, and now our Juniors killing it in the holden cup, i can see us being an NRL Power house in years to come, I have no doubt we will win a comp in the next few years, everything is moving in the right direction.Well done to Burnie Max and BA.We are back.Go the mighty eels.Go the eels holden cup team,They are 1.40 fav to win the comp.Good luck to them.

  • The U20s won't exist n its current form next year

I understand Foxsports wanted it to continue and was prepared to cover every game as it seeks content for Foxleague. Our courageous leader has decided not to entertain it, still no explanation why, not that is a surprise as he hasn't explained much at all
    • I know the NYC is Bolinger after next week, but what is replacing it? Happens to all those guys that are signed to a contract to a certain club.
    • Another great decision by Greenturd, Fox were happy to keep it going get them to stump up the money to run the thing.

    • I'd rather watch State Cup games anyway. Half of the players involved are on NRL contracts. Not so with the NYC.

  • Anyone have any highlights of Greg leleisiuao
  • It will be fitting if we can win the the last holden cup, Greenturd has no idea the holden cup is massive for our game, to axe the comp is absaloutley in sain, Greenturd has no idea and he must go, by far the worst CEO we had for a long time and that is saying something, Greenturd must go he is Destroying our game. The holden cup has been a succses, one of my favourite sains is relevant, ( if its not broken dont fucking fix it).
  • FYI, Brett, 14 of the 16 clubs were in favour of the Holden Cup continuing as were the NSWRL, the entity who now have to focus on yet another state-run competition.

Yet despite overwhelming support to retain the Holden Cup, the NRL went against the grain - upsetting many clubs in the process - and scrapped it.

    • Probably the Bronco's and the Storm that wanted it scrapped, those grubs run the game anyway these days.

"We're more aligned now. And Ryles' mindset might just help R&R. Guys like Williams who we liked for years, the Walkers, TDS or Reed, who might not have got a look in under BA, meet what Ryles is after."
