Hi Everyone,As I am new to this site, I would like to say it's really an honour to be writing and sharing my opinions on the 1 eyed eel page.My family has followed the mighty Parramatta Eels since they 1st came into the league, and although I wasn't old enough to witness their first game, ( I was born in 1983 ), I have always followed them and always will till the day that I am no longer here.After watching every game of the Nines this year, and through out the year, seeing how well we went,I honestly thought that this year we might have done something special. Guess what we have. Every week, every single Eel that has worn that Blue and Gold Jersey that has gone out on the battlefield has done me proud. ( Even the person that I shall not name, he did play well when he did take the field ).With all that has happened this year, and continues to happen through out 2016, I can honestly say that I believe that the Eels are finally going to return to the mighty Blue and Golds of the early eighties starting next year. We don't need no Million Dollar Halfback, we don't need no Million Dollar Fullback. I believe that the only thing that we are missing is a bit of luck.The boys show each week that they have what it takes to match it with the rest of the NRL and I can honestly say that although we haven't had the best year, I couldn't be prouder of the guys ( and of course BA ), with how they have gone this year.

    I don't see how things will change without some big name signings. The last few weeks have shown us all that.

"We have a tough first few games against Storm, Broncs and Panthers but some very winnable games against Dragons, Tigers and Tits. I'd be content with 3-3 and over the moon with 4-2 given how we started last year. "
