Parramatta have made their position crystal clear, with football boss Jim Sarantinos stating the club will not consent to the player signing with another NRL side unless there is an appropriate exchange of value. Speaking firmly, Sarantinos emphasised that the Eels see no reason to disadvantage themselves by allowing a release without adequate compensation, reinforcing the club’s commitment to protecting its roster and long-term interests. The stance signals that any potential move will need to deliver clear benefits to Parramatta, not just the player or rival clubs.

It's the only way a resolution can be made, I do like the idea of Howarth because he is young and we can develop him further. Can be a long term centre or backrower for us easily. Coates Meaney seem like good ideas but only short term. Howarth has a lot of upside
....if Howarth wants to come. He gets a say in this
Great point it is two sided and all it takes is a call to RLPA and they would put a stop to it quick smart forcing a player to go to a team they do not want to.
Are you kidding me? Hi Melbourne here's our Australian/NSW winger, probably the best winger in the game and we will take your ok player that will probably never play representative football.
We can afford a weakened roster we came 13th last year and Melbourne you can improve your roster a lot because you made the grand final and weren't quite good enough to win the whole fucking thing. Seriously I don't get it. Munster, Stefano or Coates are the only players we should be interested in trading Lomax for
Give us our junior Stefano Utoikamanu back and we will call it even. Would love a forward pack of:
8. Hopgood
9. Smith
10. Stefano
11. Williams
12. Kautoga
13. De Belin
14. Da Silva
15. Jnr Paulo
16. Walker
17. Moretti
Honestly that could be a premiership winning forward pack.
Only problem is Melbourne themselves are looking for middles. That is one area they need more signings. Backs they are reletively set in so that is why a back has been mentioned.
Also Stefano left the Eels on bad terms. Doubtful he'd want to return.
I think Storm would want Tino before considering letting Stefano leave.
The bad blood was about his brother?
Some of Stefanos mates are still at eels albeit Dylan and Dunster have left the club
He did but he will come now arthur isn't there. His familys beef was with arthur
