Eels Destined For Years A’s Cellar Dwellars

I don’t profess to be an expert but with the pathetic start to the season, I think Parra is on the path to being bottom of the table contenders for many seasons to come. My reasoning is as follows; We can’t afford to replace the coach. Even if we could, the administration would lack the courage to do soWe will not be able to attract forwards at the peak of their career. We have a history of being the last stop for forwards past their peakWe won’t be able to attract any up and coming talent. Who wants to spend their playing career at a club that has a history of losing, when the whole point of playing is to win a premiershipWe cannot attract third party sponsorsThe club has a reputation of being easy beats. Opposition expect to beat us and usually doThe culture of the club is to accept mediocrityAs fans, we accept poor results. We don’t expect our team to win. We hope they will. But it was been a long long long time since we expected we would win every weekInterested to see what others think

  • A full and proper clean out and build around a solid to good spine . Recruit backwards from front row and hooker and work out from there .

I think the true problem lies in that parra has no identity . We don’t know what type of footy suits our strengths . We play a Melb game without the forward strength . We are limited by our sets starting so negatively with the back 3 and by the time we are in kicking area we are already playing from behind . Boy we miss semi
  • No doubt you are Chit&unt bullgrubs supporter trolling along the road.Troll on champion.....

  • Your right about one thing.... Your no expert!
    • you're.

  • We need to blood some of our juniors. Some will make it others won't. At least we try. Not all the imports are working out either.

  • The sky is falling!
    • Yep, for any other club the season being over before it began would be a problem, but our supporters are different. This is Parramatta.

  • You might be very right mate, lets hope this 6 losses is the wake up call the club needs but the future is not looking bright apart from the stadium.

  • Nah, we may go down in flames this year but we are only 2 or 3 forwards away from a top 4 side. We will get them for next year, Arthur should made a couple of plays for forwards for this year but he fucked up and he knows it.
