Eels confirm re-signing of Dylan Brown

The Parramatta Eels Club is pleased to announce Dylan Brown has agreed to terms on a three year contract. He will remain with the Eels until the end of the 2023 NRL season.

A talented half back, Dylan made his NRL debut in round 1 of the 2019 season after joining the Eels as a 16 year old from New Zealand.

Mark O’Neill, Parramatta Eels Club General Manager of Football said, “The signing of Dylan Brown aligns with our development club philosophy and we’re extremely proud of the person and player he has become today. We’re excited about the future ahead for our Members and fans."

Dylan progressed through the Parramatta Eels Elite Junior Pathways system, he played in Parramatta’s SG Ball squad. He later debuted for the Eels in the Under 20s team in 2017, before making his NRL debut in 2019.

  • $650K a season for three years after 2020

How much is the upgrade for 2020?

    according to nrl.com

The Eels are expected to upgrade Brown's contract for 2020 and have offered him around $650,000 a year for the following three years.

    • If 2020 is about half that then it is a fair deal

BTW great news. Got the best halves combo in the comp

    • 650 is fine imo, after next year 650 might be looking very good.

      • Won't be looking too good if his back shits itself but those are the risks we have to take. Without the back issues clubs would be offering him $800k+ for 2021

      • Thank god it gets YOUR tick of approval.

        Lol

      • I hope so. 650k is alot  to pay for a player who may have the qualities to be a star, or end up average with back problems. I realy do hope he turns out a star. Now we have him for 3 yrs and Joey to work with him.

  • BIG

  • Thank Christ now everybody can stop getting their knickers in a knot and we won't get another multiple blog on will he or won't he

    • Don't hold your breath, wait till they bitch about how overpaid he is next season. I give them till round 8.

      • You started already brain fart.
