Over the many years of supporting the eels, there have been as many changes in the shades that would make all those who have facelifts/ body tucks and the like feel like they have been had, and likely go for more.
The most consistent colours worn by the eels were those of the old B&G banded colours, those colours were deemed and everyone called them as Royal Blue & Gold, the term Royal was generally dispensed with and just the B&G refered to.
When the emperor changed the design, the colours were still basically the same, but over the years, the colours have been much akin to a dogs breakfast. The colours in the Avenger's link is pretty much righ regarding the blue, but the gold/yellow is a bit too light.
I'm sure the club has a branding guideline document which would be available to all their affiliates. All the detail should be in that. Maybe ask the club for a copy. The most recent jerseys 2019,2020 are what I would consider to be our true colours of blue and gold. I hope the club can formalise this so our jerseys from here on are as consistent as our rivals.
I agree that last 2 years were more akin to the original colours more especially the blue one, the gold is not far off. What I do not like about them though is the bands do not go all the way round the jersey and have the vertical blue down from the arm pits. I for one do not like the reverse jersey though and rather see the other more traditional one used for away games.
"It's a hard one ... if he had played rep footy more previously I would say yes
but your taking about someone who only really in the past 12-24 finally made rep teams and until this origin series had only been selected due to injuries to others
so…"

Cool. Blue & Gold.
I'm glad we don't have some stupid name for our colours like a Bunnings colour chart.
I'm sure one team dose.
Wankers
I'm not sure that colour chart is correct. I know the blue is called marine blue. Checking with ISC would be best way to find out.
