  • We Offered Him A Contract Last Time He Was Off Contract But He Re-signed With Storm But This Time We Might Be More Of A Chance Because He Has Been Geting Stuff All Game Time But Unless He Is Injured

  • Highly doubt we would have got rid of Sio and then go and buy Duffie, i'd assume they would have similar salaries, we got rid of sio to free up cash, and i suspect BA has a liking for powerful wingers, i doubt this is true.

    BUT stranger things have happened..

  • He said no last time. Just had a shoulder reco. So he can go and get fucked. Thats how I feel!
  • I think Uate would be good. He defence could improve but he so strong.
    • LOl where did Uate come from? What has he got to do with this blog?
    • They are trying to sign a winger, sorry forgot that Uate plays lock!!
  • i have taken this straight from wiki.

Duffie played a major part in the Storm's comeback in 2011 scoring 12 tries in his 18 games played.[8] He underwent shoulderreconstruction surgery in October of that year.[10]

In April 2011 Duffie signed a three-year extension to his contract with the Storm, taking him to the end of the 2014 season.[11]

In 2012 he scored 10 tries in the 17 games he played.[12] In the Storm's round 19 match against the North Queensland Cowboys he suffered another shoulder dislocation injury, to the same shoulder (left) as in 2011, which turned out to be season-ending.[13]

Duffie Spent all of 2013 out with his shoulder and knee injurys

Matt duffie returned in 2014 playing in Storms opening trial against the Canberra Raiders playing well the next week he went with the Storm to Nz and played in the short version of the game at the Auckland Nines competition where he playing in all three of 3 of storms pool games playing well unfortunately on Wedensday the 19th of Feb Matt Duffie collided with a teammate (reported) and injured his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and he would miss the entire 2014 season.

i reckon this kid would be quite happy just to get a contract with a team. Storm have Koriebete, Fonua, Hampton, Mann, Kennar, O'Neill, Travis Robinson, Young Tonumaipea + plus any outside backs they recycle in the off season.

    from zero tackle -

Re-Signed: Jesse Bromwich (2018), Slade Griffin (2016), Ben Hampton (2016), Tohu Harris (2017), Cameron Munster (2017), Kevin Proctor (2018), Cameron Smith (2018), Young Tonumaipea (2016)

Off Contract 2014: Matt DuffieMahe FonuaHymel HuntFelise KaufusiRichard KennarJoel RomeloGeorge Rose

im sure that Fonua would be high on this list to retain and would get a pretty good contract upgrade and the resigning of bromich, harris & proctor would have taken some a fair whack of what they were paying Hoffman.

    • He has some great talent and poor bugger that's a bad run of injuries.
  • It's that time of year folks. Brace ourselves for some hilarious  blogs

  • I've heard of Parramatta trolling other sides carpark dump bins for players but this is ridiculous.
I mean are we now that desperate we are now shopping in the hospital wards of Melbourne?
