Great on the field. Needs to have more of a think about the way he conducts himself when interviewed after the game. A fair bit of shit talking and unnecessary carry on when speaking on Channel 9 after tonight's game.
You can't be serious can you? He was having a joke with the commentators you knob.

Yes. Serious Brad. Thanks for asking you massive "Knob". (Sounds tough doesn't it?). The only funny bit was his reference to having a Grade 2 carry on when asked if injured. The rest of the bullshit he carried on with multiple times about having a few schooners and so on was pretty immature and unnecessary from the club captain. Made it look like he has been getting media training from the king of dopes, Corey Norman. I love the guy, but can you name one other current NRL Club captain who would be more interested in being buddies with Channel 9 commentary team than focusing on the job ahead for his team?

The job for the night was over, and successful. He also mentioned multiple times the path ahead and how important Top 4 was. And in terms of the way he dealt with the press it was spot on. He was pleasant and playful whilst giving absolutely nothing away which is exactly what you need to do at this point of the season. His banter and rapport diverted all the serious questions on form, performance or injuries away with humour.
You want to also know who does that at these times in the season? Cameron Smith. Who gets away with murder because he builds that rapport and can lead the conversation where he wants it to go (on and off the field).
Edge was the ultimate captain, Price led by his actions and attitude, Gutho leads by his incredible work rate and involvement. All different all very good.

Yep way better than Steve Edge or Ray Price!!!
They were good captains of great teams. But this guy is dragging a team behind him. Seems like a great bloke as well as a great footballer.
Yep that he most definitely, has, and is doing very well!

Gutho is growing into an excellent captain.
All part of the cunning master plan - brilliant.
One of Gutho's best games imo.
