Eels can still make the finals.

That's right, we can still make the finals. We just need to win our remaining games, have the Dragons lose all their remaining games and for a few other wins to go our way. We can make it in on 26 points.

I've pretty much given up, after our loss to the Titans and then the Roosters... but just interesting to see we can still make it. I think tonight we showed that we can still potentially cause an upset... so who knows what could happen for the rest of the year.

Though as BA said, if we can't win this game then we don't deserve to be in the finals. Well, we came pretty close to beating the Roosters tonight... I still can't believe they're favorites for the premiership! I'm expecting the Broncos, Cowboys or Sharks to win it.

Versing manly at home, versing the dark horses at home but I think we can beat the raiders in 2 weeks. IMO we definitely make the 8 if we had good luck with our injury toll, it is a really good effort from the boys not to get wooden spoon this year. Let's look at our injuries through the year we lost Edwards at the start of the season, semi out for about 2 months Tepai having a bung shoulder all year, our 2 centres of Takairangi & Hopoate getting injured every month, we had our 3 main hookers out for a week, Watmough & Wicks picking up shoulder injuries last month & Corey Norman out for a while. Last night our captain Mannah injured his ankle I think which puts our injury toll to 11 players worse than any other team including panthers, manly or Titans but it still seems that the NRL community think that penrith or manly has it worse but the eels have nearly beaten the premiership favourites which just prove that without our injuries we are definitely a top 8 team.

  Interesting and quite a coincidence we will be PLAYING those 3 clubs the same weekend we appear to be also serenading them.
