Eels burn Dragons with brutal social media sledge

In a comical back-and-forth on Tuesday afternoon, the Eels got the better of the Dragons after the Red V initiated a social media stoush.

After the Eels posted a video of winger Bevan French 'dabbing', the Dragons decided to reply with 'dabbing was cool in 2015', accompanied by a snoring emoji.

But in one of the greatest comeback you're ever likely to see, the Eels hit back with a stinging sledge: "Funnily enough, that's still two years after the last time you beat us on the field."

The Sharks even chimed into the battle by posting "We just came to read the comments", alongside a GIF of Michael Jackson eating some popcorn.

The Dragons will be looking to change their recent run of losses against Parramatta when the two sides clash in Round 2.

Hopefully their on-field game is better than their Twitter game.
