From ParraEels.comR9_Eels v CowboysIn 2017, when the Parramatta Eels win on the field, we will be announcing three awards presented to the players following the game.The awards are:· Rebel Moment of the Week Award· Grappa Relentless Effort Award and· Pendle Hill Meat Market Own Your Job AwardThese awards are presented to the players as chosen by Eels Head Coach Brad Arthur and the Blue & Gold coaching staff in relation to how they meet the Eels standards and expectations.See the Round Nine Eels Awards below.Watch highlights from the clashRebel Moment of the Week Award – Tim MannahIn the 73rd minute of the clash, with the Eels leading 20-6, the Cowboys had a scrum feed 20m out from their own line.Packing the scrum at hooker, Blue & Gold forward and co-captain Tim Mannah struck at the ball forcing the Eels to win the scrum against the feed, giving the Eels possession in great field position.A few plays later, Mannah charged towards the line after a short ball from dummy half, and he powered over the top of fullback Kayln Ponga to plant the ball down for a try.A busy minute of play by the Eels skipper, that saw him score just the fifth try of his career and put a stamp on the Eels victory over the Cowboys at 1300SMILES Stadium.Grappa Relentless Effort Award – Beau ScottBlue & Gold forward and co-captain Beau Scott was back to his aggressive best in Round Nine against the Cowboys, earning himself the Grappa Relentless Effort Award.Coming off the bench, Scott had a busy 57 minutes on the field as he made 65m from his seven runs and a brutal 31 tackles.An uncompromising effort that saw Scott punish the Cowboys attack through his trademark defence.Pendle Hill Meat Market Own Your Job Award – Michael JenningsIn arguably Michael Jennings best game of the year, the centre earns himself the Pendle Hill Meat Market Own Your Job Award in the Eels Round Nine clash against the Cowboys.Jennings was back to his lighting quick self, making 120m from his 11 runs, two line breaks, one try assist and 11 tackles, which featured plenty of metres and brought an x-factor to the Eels attack as he terrorised the Cowboys right edge defence.
