EELS WANTED MOYLAN
The Eels are getting good at smothering clear issues within the club.

Recently, a simple interview request from The Telegraph to chat with utility Will Smith about how Jarryd Hayne's arrival will impact him was denied, only for him to turn up 24-hours later in a manufactured interview with PR machine, NRL.com.

Now Leaks has learned that despite denying any internal issues with Corey Norman, the club chased former Penrith ace Matt Moylan before he chose to join Cronulla.

    • Exactly, the Telegraph would've gone with the headline: "Hayne's arrival shafts loyal Eel." Will Smith is a backup utility, he's not really affected by Hayne's arrival given he's not in the top 17. If it weren't for injury Smith wouldn't have played at all in 2017.

  • Honestly these journalists are clowns

  • Moylan would not have been a good fit for us.   Pass.

I am more worried about the HAYNE pushing popular TAKA out of the team.  That will have a huge impact I feel. TAKA is very popular and a main stay amongst the boys.   Whatever sells papers...

    • Takers will move into the second row.
Haynes arrivall will probably push scott
      Out of the team.
    • Taka can't move to second row. Mau plays 80 on the left and Moses needs tepai and Edwards on the right more than what fans seem to realise. Also scott will get the bench spot because he is obviously better in the middle. Taka is either left centre or left out. My guess is left centre.
  • So Eels deny a interview for Smith on how Haynes arrival impacts him? Of course we would considering the shit Kent has written of late and spouted. Practically begging the NRL to look into the validity of his contract. I hope the eels don't do any interviews for the Telegraph for a long time. At least NRL.com do a broad interview and not just pick for rumours and problems. How about interview Will skith on his role in the club and how he looking forward to being part of the 17 and with brad arthur putting faith in him? Not picking for another Hayne story
  • This, if anything, is great news. We finally plugged the leaking that happened almost on a daily basis.

  • This is what happens when you have a proper communications manager in charge.

The Eels will control our own narrative if that’s ok by you Telegraph.

  • LOL

  • According to my calculations this whole story is utter and total nonsense.
