Eels announce two new additions to coaching staff

The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce that Michael Ennis and Paul McGregor will be joining the coaching staff as consultants for Season 2022.

Michael and Paul had long and successful careers as players, Paul spent seven years as head coach of St George Illawarra and Michael has most recently spent time with Canberra as part of their coaching staff.

Both men bring a wealth of football knowledge and experience and will no doubt be valuable additions to our team.

  • Great stuff.

  • WTF! Is this a trolling blog Super? All the "BA and his assistants" haters are going to go bananas.

  • Michael Ennis with Mahoney is mouth watering.

  • Ennis working with Mahoney is very exciting IMO, he could rally take bud game to the next level.  Not so excited about Mary he was a horrible coach, maybe Bea's going to get some hair tips???

    • Agree Al.... Ennis is a sensational appointment.

I've heard that Mary is one of those blokes that is rated one of THE best assistants around - a bit like Steve Price. I reckon he might work out well.

This is really exciting news, made my day :)

      • McGregor was said to be someone who did not have the backbone to be a head coach but has the nouce and ins and outs to be successful in coaching other areas. Perfect assistant type

It never hurts to have new voices, especially in attack and surely Ennis and McGregor will have some imput over things we do each week.
